School Trips

School trips give every student the opportunity to reach outward and develop their worldly experience of various cultures, people, places and pursuits, and they are an integral part of the educational experience offered by the ABCIS. Students are afforded numerous opportunities to take part in a wide range of stimulating excursions, from participating in a sports team in regional FOBISIA events, engaging in adventurous activities for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to taking part in annual year group residential trips that involve learning, service and challenge. During their time at our school all students will embrace opportunities to develop their physical and intellectual stamina as well as teamwork and leadership skills through the trips and excursions on offer.
Within Primary, we provide many stimulating and enjoyable trips for our students in every year group. These range from day trips to local businesses and points of interest related to their curriculum to overnight residentials when they reach Year 4. These allow our students to experience the world in a safe and controlled manner and develop their own maturity and resilience. Additional international trips are also available for our oldest Primary students as part of our membership of FOBISIA and include sporting and academic events where they compete against our fellow international schools in South East Asia.
